Elroy & Bobby is founded and led by Brendan and Kate Cescon, two high-school sweethearts who love art and spreadsheets and have managed to combine their passion for both (as well as each other) into this company.

You're probably wondering about the name, given that neither Brendan nor Kate are named Elroy nor Bobby. Okay, here's the thing with the name -- Brendan's late father (rest in peace Lonny, you were a wild one) liked to paint wizards and draw aliens. For real. And he had a little comic strip he had been ideating on called "Elroy & Bobby." Elroy was an alien and Bobby was a little boy, and they were friends. We're not saying it's a ripoff of Calvin and Hobbes, but we are saying that if Hobbes was an alien, basically it would be exactly the same.

Anyway, we named the company after those characters because the playful spirit they evoked was exactly what we were going for. Lots of companies are toxic, boring, and all about profit and exploitation, but we’re not like other companies. We're different. We're storytellers.
